It was announced on Sunday that we are now looking to recruit a team of people to serve mid-week on the Iron St Grounds Team! This will include jobs such as yard work and general site maintenance. If you are interested in helping out on this team, please reach out to Rebs at admin@sgparra.org.au. Thankyou!!
Our next Baby Dedications are coming up on Sunday the 28th May. If you are planning on dedicating your child on this day, this a great time to invite family and friends to church. For the rest of us, it’s a great time to welcome new faces and exude the love of Christ to all who come through our doors.
We will be dedicating a few children to the Lord on this day and are looking forward to celebrating the growth of our church through these little ones.
Riley preached on Sunday from 1 Peter 5:12-14 on the importance of Gospel partnership and that this is crucial in the life of a mature church. Signing up to the SG Global Newsletter is a great way to partake in this partnership by finding out what’s going on in Sovereign Grace Churches around the world.

The latest issue of the Sovereign Grace Journal is here! The sixth edition is titled “A Passion for the Church” and is written by Sovereign Grace pastors for the pastors and members of Sovereign Grace Churches. Our pastor, Riley, has also contributed to this issue with an article on what the Bible has to say about Church Membership.
To download a free pdf of the journal, head to sovereigngrace.com/journal. Or you can purchase a physical copy from Amazon here or from the bookshop for $10.
During the State Election this past weekend, we ran a democracy sausage sizzle, offering free sausage sandwiches and free coffees to voters who came through. It was such a great opportunity to serve our local community and to get to know some of them whilst also letting them know about our church! Please continue to pray for any seeds that were planted on the day - that the Lord would provide growth and potentially bring some people back to our Sunday gatherings.
A special shoutout to all the volunteers who gave up their time to serve that day - the event would not have been possible without all your help! Thank you!
Easter is easily one of the most important dates on our calendar each year, and this year is no different! We are so looking forward to marking the death, burial and resurrection of our Saviour with a Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday service at Iron St:
Good Friday Service: 7th April at 10am
Easter Sunday Service: 9th April at 10am
Please feel free to invite friends and family along to both services! This will be a wonderful opportunity for all to either be reminded of the Gospel or to hear it for the first time.
For more info, head to sgparra.org.au/easter.
An organised lunch after church will not be on this week as originally planned. However, it may be a great opportunity to invite people over to your home or organise a lunch outing with a group of people!
It’s Ladies Growth Groups this week! Your LG leader will have all the details you need.
As Easter approaches, lets dedicate ourselves to prayer, asking God that many would be exposed to the gospel message and make a decision to follow Jesus.
Everyone in the church is invited!
When: Friday, March 24, 7:30pm
Where: Song’s place
Hope to see you all there!
Our last session will be led by Joel Seric.
We would love for you to invite family and friends along as it will be a great opportunity to hear a deep dive into the Gospel.
We look forward to seeing you there if you can make it!
