On the 13th Nov, we’ll be holding a Board games and burgers night. A fun night for us as a church to gather for some fellowship and engage is some board game rivalry.

It will also be a great opportunity for you to invite your friends, families, neighbours to connect with our church community :) so do invite them along.

Starts 5pm with a simple ‘make your own burger’ for dinner.

We will also have a short time where a couple of our church members will be sharing their testimonies to encourage the saints!

If you have any favourite board games you would like to play on the night bring them along!

We are very excited to be launching the SGC Australia ‘Young Leaders Internship’ starting Feb 2023. It is a 10 month opportunity for you if you’re young/youngish to dip your toes into a ministry environment and serve Jesus and your church with a bunch of like-minded people.

It is open to all SGC members and we’re also extending it to people who are outside of SGC and would like to join one of our churches for the program.

The reality is, we need more leaders to take the gospel forward and we hope that this program aids that!

The 14:1 ministry is meeting at 7.30pm this Friday, 21st October at 27 Iron St.

The night is open to all our church members and Starting Point members. Whether you are new to spiritual gifts, or are seeking to discern which gifts the Lord may have given you, or you are desiring to grow in your pursuit and practice of them then this night is designed for you!

We will spend time worshipping together, hearing from one another about how the Lord has worked through the gifts in our church recently (and He has!), and praying for one another. There will also be some teaching on the gifts and an opportunity for Q&A about the gifts.

It’s Ladies Growth Groups this week! Your LG leader will have all the details you need.

We will be holding our SG Ladies event this Saturday night, 7.30pm held at Iron St.

Rebecca Song will be speaking on the theme of ‘Contentment’ and how to find and experience contentment as a Christian woman.

We would love to hear from you if you’d like to help out in some way for the event! Anything from set up, contributing dessert, clean up, etc. If you would like to serve in any of these capacities, please contact Maddie Spring.

Our next round of Starting Point, our 5 week newcomers course, begins this Sunday! If you are interested in making SG Parramatta your home church and wondering what that would mean, this is for you! Please email me (rs@sgparra.org.au) to RSVP so that I can have all the materials ready for you! You can still come even if you haven’t registered! The more the merrier!
