Child Safe Policy

Ministry to children is vibrant and exciting work, and also greatly significant to the life of the church. Teaching children about Jesus is kingdom work. It is a service to the children, the church family, and to God himself that offers great opportunities, but also carries significant responsibilities for the wellbeing of the children in our care. If we as a church take the teaching and leadership of children seriously then we must do all we can to provide an environment that is safe from any form of harm.

Abuse and Sexual Misconduct Policy

Sovereign Grace Church Parramatta is committed to the spiritual, emotional and physical wellbeing of church members. The Church does not tolerate any form of abuse and sexual misconduct. The Church believes that all people are created in the image of God and they are entitled to be treated with dignity. Abuse arises from the misuse of authority or power, and any form of abuse is always wrong. The Church sees abuse as destructive to God’s people and calls to account anyone who harms and exploits another.
