Riley Spring
Lead Pastor
Riley is the Lead Pastor of Sovereign Grace Church Parramatta. He is married to Maddison (Maddie), and together they have four children, Evie, Jasper, Judah and Zoe! They have been married for 12 years after falling in love at their local High School in the Sutherland Shire. They love Jesus, His Church, and inviting people to celebrate Him. Riley has a Bachelor of Economics (USYD), a Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary) (UNSW) and graduated from the Sovereign Grace Pastor’s College in 2018. He enjoys the footy (NRL!), smoking meat, and music…though he has no musical talent, just stand next to him on a Sunday…!
Richard Song
Pastoral CANDIDATE
Richard is completing a Pastoral Internship as he seeks to discern God’s calling on his life. He is currently undergoing the Pastoral Candidacy program with Sovereign Grace whilst also working as a strategic analyst in broadcasting. He is married to Rebecca and together they have three children, Lucas, Eleanor, and Nora. He has Bachelor of Engineering and an MBA from UTS. He has graduated from the Sovereign Grace Australia Pastors and Planters Academy. Richie loves AFL, running, and K Pop.
Joel Seric
CHURCH PLANTING INTERN
Joel has had a heart for Pastoral ministry for some time and is currently completing a Pastoral Internship at Sovereign Grace Church Parramatta whilst also working as a high school teacher at Toongabbie Christian School. He is married to Jamie and together they have two children, Amaliah and Tobias. We are walking forward in faith hoping to send out this precious family to plant a church in Blacktown in the next couple of years. He has a Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Theology (SMBC). He has graduated from the Sovereign Grace Australia Pastors and Planters Academy. Joel enjoys Crossfit and all things gardening.

ARBIE MAGNO
Treasurer + Serving Teams
Arbie oversees the finance and the different serving teams within our church. He is married to Lavinia with whom he has two kids: Louise and Liam. During the week, he works as an IT Project Manager and loves to keep fit and read in his spare time.
JOHN CARR
SG Kids
John heads up our SG Kids Ministry and serves the Kids’ leaders by training them up to faithfully and creatively impart the Gospel to the next generation. He is married to Claire and together, they have two kids: Amelie and Reuben. During the week, he works as the Head of Primary Operations at Toongabbie Christian School and loves to squeeze in a round of golf in his spare time.
DAVEN POBLETE
SG Stewards
Daven looks after the team of chief stewards who oversee the logistics of each Sunday morning. He is married to Korinna and is dad to Dawson. During the week, he works as a Project Manager who “helps farmers feed the world”! In his spare time, he loves to shoot some hoops and take his family on road trips.
HENRY BURNETT
SG Music
Henry oversees the Music Ministry at our church which includes everything from helping curate our church’s song list to training and caring for those who serve on the Music Team. He is married to Alana, with whom he has three kids: Elsie, Sebastian and Hugo. During the week, he works as a Town Planner and in his spare time, loves to write songs and spend time working in the yard.
COURTNEY LICK
SG Women
Courtney works with Rebecca to serve the women of our church. She is often seen (or not seen) faithfully serving behind the scenes and out of the spotlight. During the week, she works at a book publishing company as an editor. In her spare time, you can find her gardening, crocheting or playing/listening to music.
REBECCA SONG
SG Women
Rebecca works with Courtney to serve the women of our church. She is married to Richard with whom she has three kids: Lucas, Eleanor and Nora. During the week, she works for the church part time as an administrator. In her spare time, you’ll most likely find her napping or knitting depending on the kind of day she’s having.
