There will be no groups during the school break (this week and next), but this may be a great opportunity to spend that time catching up with your group members, or even those outside of your group!

This past Sunday, we continued on in our Romans series, where Riley preached on Romans 6:12-14 on pursuing newness of life as a result of our union with Christ.
Here is a prayer, shared by Rachel Pettett, to help us in this pursuit as we fight to present our members to God as instruments for righteousness.
“O Lord, come quickly and reign on your throne, for now often something rises up within me, and tries to take possession of your throne: pride, covetousness, uncleanness, and sloth want to be my kings, and then evil-speaking, anger, hatred, fear, and the whole train of vices join with me in warring against myself, and try to reign over me. I resist them; I cry out against them, and say, “I have no other king than Christ.” O King of peace, come and reign in me, for I will have no king but you!

This year, we’ve allocated some Saturdays throughout the year to workshop and hone in on different life stages that we may be in.

SG Parra Marriage Morning (9:30am-12:30pm, Saturday 13 July)
at 27 Iron Street, North Parramatta
We will be going through some talks by Rob Flood from Covenant Fellowship Church teaching on communication tools for marriage and life.

SG Kids is an integral part of our church’s life and it wouldn’t be possible without the countless volunteers who give up their time, energy and resources to serve the next generation!
Part of what makes this all possible are our biannual training nights - the next of which is coming up on Thursday, 18 July at 27 Iron Street, North Parramatta.
If you serve in SG Kids, please lock in this date for our first kids workers training night of the year. More details to come. Attendance at these nights is a crucial part of serving in kids, so please make it a priority to be there.
The next G2G will be on Friday 26 July, 6-8PM! It will be held at 27 Iron Street, North Parramatta.
This will be a Parent Participation month, where we will be having Dave and Emma Taylor visiting to share their insights based on a wealth of experience around the area of discipleship and training in parenting through the teen years. You don’t want to miss out on this! So please lock the date into your calendars.

To round out the term, both men’s and women’s growth groups will be meeting simultaneously this week! Your group leader will send out details shortly.
Following this week, we will be on a two week break from Life Groups over the school holidays.

Life Groups are on this week!
Life Groups are so vital for us as a Church as they allow us to take the joy of Sunday and work out in smaller communities where we can know each other more deeply and help each other out more personally. We hope that this time together with your group blesses you!
Your LG leaders will send you all the information you need for this week.
There will be no Life Groups on this week as it will be replaced by our monthly Prayer & Praise night.
