An organised lunch after church will not be on this week as originally planned. However, it may be a great opportunity to invite people over to your home or organise a lunch outing with a group of people!
It’s Ladies Growth Groups this week! Your LG leader will have all the details you need.
As Easter approaches, lets dedicate ourselves to prayer, asking God that many would be exposed to the gospel message and make a decision to follow Jesus.
Everyone in the church is invited!
When: Friday, March 24, 7:30pm
Where: Song’s place
Hope to see you all there!
Our last session will be led by Joel Seric.
We would love for you to invite family and friends along as it will be a great opportunity to hear a deep dive into the Gospel.
We look forward to seeing you there if you can make it!
6pm @ Iron Street, BYO dinner and get ready for some great content
Easter is easily one of the most important dates on our calendar each year, and this year is no different! We are so looking forward to marking the death, burial and resurrection of our Saviour with a Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday service at Iron St:
Good Friday Service: 7th April at 10am
Easter Sunday Service: 9th April at 10am
Please feel free to invite friends and family along to both services! This will be a wonderful opportunity for all to either be reminded of the Gospel or to hear it for the first time.
We will be holding a Democracy Sausage Sizzle on Election Day this year! This will be a great opportunity for outreach and connecting with the local community.
It will be held at Iron Street on Saturday, the 25th of March.
There will be opportunities to volunteer on the day for the following: set up, pack down, sausage sizzle and coffee. If you are interested in helping out at all on the day, please contact Abella or Georgia Lick.
Thankyou!
We had a wonderful time at our first Women’s Breakfast of the year on Saturday. CJ served the ladies so well by speaking on “Making the Best Use of the Time” and unpacking what biblical rest and work look like. We were reminded of the importance of resting in Christ’s perfect work and rest whilst also following His example of work and rest.
CJ also shared some recommended resources on the topic, which you can find linked below:
CJ Mahaney’s free, unpublished ebook, Biblical Productivity
Carolyn Mahaney and daughters, Shopping for Time
Kevin DeYoung, Crazy Busy
Dane Ortlund, Gentle and Lowly and Deeper
Life Groups are on this week!
Life Groups are so vital for us as a Church as they allow us to take the joy of Sunday and work out in smaller communities where we can know each other more deeply and help each other out more personally. We hope that this time together with your group blesses you!
Your LG leaders will send you all the information you need for this week.
