As parents it can be very tricky to know how to navigate our children and our families through complex ethical situations that arise in community. We are called to be in the world and not of it. We are called to love our neighbour with compassion but not love sin. And we are called to train our kids to know what is right and wrong.

Ever had difficulties with the process of finding a replacement to serve on Sunday? or perhaps looking for a quick and efficient means of determining what ministry you are serving on this week and who you are rostered on with?
Well, Elvanto is a church management software we will be rolling out in the next few weeks, which will help manage our rostering in a efficient, and simple way for all of us :)

We are excited for our very first episode of, ‘For Such A Time As This’, to be launching today! You can find it on Apple, Google Podcasts or Spotify.
The first season is 6 episodes long and will drop every 2 weeks. It is hosted by Emma Taylor and Janelle Pearce from our sister church SG Wahroonga.

For the first half of the year we trialled having lunch after church every week, hosted by a LG. These have been really special times for us and a great expression of the hospitality and fellowship we are called to practice in the New Testament.
Going forward, we decided as a Core Team that we are going to trial reducing that down to a planned and hosted lunch only once a month, by the Life Groups.
If you have loved having lunch every week and would like to be involved in helping to coordinate something so that there’s still a lunch option each week please contact Joel Seric.
This week the Seric’s will host a pot lunch lunch at the Commerford’s after church, all are welcome to attend!

What an amazing time we had at ‘Together 2022’! It was such a joy to be gathering across our two churches, worshipping, praying, studying, feasting, and playing together! There were so many memories made, friendships formed, people cared for, and souls refreshed!
I want to thank everyone who came! Thank you for taking the time to make our church family a part of your life! I hope you got a taste of the joy and potentials of partnership and saw that this isn’t just a preference or pragmatic decision but one of biblical principle.
I also want to thank everyone who served in various capacities! SG Parra, you guys are such amazing servants and you did such a great job creatively and sacrificially to make the weekend happen. A big thank you to Prav and the events team, the PA team, and everyone who stepped in to make things happen (set up, kids, etc.) THANKYOU!
I can’t wait for Together 2023 already!
