This week there will be no pre-arranged lunch after service.
Perhaps you can take this opportunity to spend a quiet one with your family or maybe plan and organise to have some people over - the choice is yours :)

As you may or may not be aware, the Pettett's are experiencing a chronic health challenge. Their current health situation means that they are in need of some practical help from the body of Christ.
They have asked if members might be willing to assist with cleaning and prayer.
So, if you are willing and able to help in some capacity, then please respond in email by the 26th of June to joel.e.seric@gmail.com your offer of service commitment, once off, semi-regularly, regularly. Subsequently, further details around coordinating the care will be sent later.
There is no guilt or pressure if you are unable to serve in this capacity as the Pettetts have a wonderful trust in the sovereignty of God and know that the Lord will provide exactly for their needs.

It’s Ladies Growth Groups this week! Your LG leader will have all the details you need.
Tomorrow night, SG Wahroonga is hosting one of their ‘Equipped for Life’ events and the next on the list is a talk and Q n A Panel (that i’ll be running) based around the book: ‘What’s Best Next?’ by Matt Perman. It’s open to anyone from our church
Obviously, if you have LG on tomorrow night it won’t work for you but there’ll be a YouTube live stream you can watch later if you can’t make it.
Here’s the post from Brendan

When it comes to work what really matters most? What should I do if I'm constantly feeling swamped? How do I make those difficult decisions about when to say 'no'? If you’re anything like me these are real questions you face every single day.
Tomorrow night we’re pausing our small groups to take a look at Gospel-centred productivity as we try and get to the heart of how we can best honour God with our work.
We will be running a livestream on YouTube for those at home with kids which you can access here.
You can download the slides for the night here.
This Wednesday 15th of June, 7:30pm at FVCC
Bring your Qs for the panel!
We are back with Life Groups. Your LG leaders will send you all the information you need for this week.
Potluck lunch provided at the Seric’s this Sunday - you are welcome to bring a dish, as the more the merrier! :)
Address available on request.
One of the greatest joys I have as a Pastor is that I am not doing this alone. Not only do I have the blessing of pastoring an incredible and supportive church here at Parra, but I get to work with, plan with, and be supported by Sovereign Grace Churches, especially, with Dave Taylor and Brendan Willis at Wahroonga.
This not only blesses me, but blesses us! As a family of churches we are better together. We collaborate, support, send help, have better ideas, give better feedback/rebuke, etc etc.
Last week our partnership was on full display. Dave, Brendan and I went on our Annual Regional Assembly of Elders trip…a fancy word for a Planning Retreat! We also invited all the Academy Students along for one of the nights and it was such a great time. We spent time in worship, study, prayer, planning, and hanging out. Through that time we got better clarity and vision for the future of both of our churches and for SG AUS as a whole…AND we had some AWESOME ideas for our first annual retreat as SG AUS, ‘Together 2022’!
And then on Sunday, Richard Song went and preached at SG Wahroonga to serve them and he was joined by Maddie Lick who played drums to help them out with some shortages on the roster (shout out also to Mum, Jo, and Mik who are also doing that).
All in all, our partnership in the Gospel makes gospel ministry all the sweeter and more enjoyable. And one thing I’d love for us is to see this partnership not just as ‘Riley’s’ thing but ‘our’ thing. That we ALL get the fruits of this!
p.s. two weeks prior to that Brendan and I went to the Reach Australia National Conference to rep SG AUS and make friends with likeminded gospel workers across Australia and it was also a really fun and fruitful time!
Your LG leaders will let you know all the details!
