On May 29, we will be having another Baby Dedication Sunday.
These Sunday’s are very special to us as a church as we set aside time to thank God for the lives of our children and dedicate ourselves and our child(ren) to the things of the Lord.
So please mark your calendars and plan to join us.

Psalm 127:3 - ‘Behold children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward.’
May 21 is Federal Election day and the Iron Street Chapel will be used as a polling booth! This means that our planned Men’s and Women’s Events for that date will be moved to alternate dates (Men’s = 4th June, Ladies = TBC).
We are trying to see if we can put on a ‘Democracy Sausage Sizzle’ to meet our neigbhours. If you’d like to be a part of making that happen please contact Riley and let him know ASAP.
On May 13th at 7:30pm the 14:1 Team are meeting at Iron Street Chapel to sing, pray, and learn more of what it means to live out the command in 1 Corinthians 14:1, in particular, what it looks like to use the spiritual gifts in the context of small groups. There will be time for questions and for ministering to any who would like prayer.
The night is open to all who would like to learn more about 1 Corinthians 14:1 - you don’t have to be part of the 14:1 Team to come along.

Dear Church, I am thrilled to announce that we have raised over $62,000 in our recent Go Forward Fund! This means that we are able to fund: the poor in the Philippines through ICM partnering with local churches, persecuted Christians around the world with Open Doors, church planting globally with Sovereign Grace, and our own local mission here in Parramatta, where the world is at our doorstep!
Thank you for your generosity, kingdom focus, and sacrificial love. It is an absolute joy to pastor such a giving church!

PS. our sister church in Wahroonga was able to raise over $160K, so between our two churches we nearly raised a quarter of a million dollars. This is astounding generosity and a sure sign of God’s grace and favour upon us!
