Sunday Recap: Psalm 19 - The Silent and Spoken Word of God
It was such a joy to have Simon Walker join us and serve us by preaching so well on Psalm 19. If you missed his sermon, make some time to go and listen to it this week. (Access it here).
Hopefully, by God’s grace, it will inform and stir your heart to want to hear from God more! Some good questions he asked us to consider were? “How often are you listening to the silent voice of God in creation?” and “Do you really believe the word of God soaks your soul and revives it?”. He commended us to find ways to sit under the silent word of God (the voice of creation) and the spoken work of Scripture (the bible).
Recently, Maddie and I just signed up to a new bible reading plan on the YouVersion Bible app, you can actually invite people to do the same plan with you, you can check each others progress and you can even write notes about what you thought and collaborate. I am also using the Dwell bible app to listen to the passages, as sometimes i find it difficult to sit there and read in the morning but I listen as i make a coffee or walk out in the garden etc.
Do whatever you can do to hear God speaking to you!
